Kuwait covers about 17,818 square kilometers along the Persian Gulf, with roughly 499 kilometers of coastline.
The population is around 4.1 to 4.3 million, most living in Kuwait City and its metropolitan area.
Kuwait City’s skyline is marked by the Kuwait Towers, opened in 1979, including a 187-meter tower with a revolving observation sphere. Peak visits occur between November and March, when daytime temperatures are milder compared to summer highs exceeding 45°C.
